Atleti pres backtracking now on Costa saying he was misquoted, I wouldn't sell on pure principle now. He's put us in a tough position negotiating for a replacement striker. Clubs going to extort us knowing were going to lose him.

What is it Ed always says? If an acceptable offer comes in and the player wants to go, the club will not stand in the way. 50mil should do it i'd say. I reckon he's gone, in all fairness the press made a scapegoat out of him same with Suarez. Wouldn't dare do it with a Utd player.

Wouldn't dare do it with a United player?! Do you not remember Di Maria? Falcao? Memphis? Fellaini? And that's only in the last couple years. The press love to attack any United player that is an easy target.
