Ed 002 Do you think the club have a realistic chance of signing a striker in January or will they have to wait until the summer?

Put it this way were not getting Lukaku back till the summer and if it's not Lewandowski which looks doubtful anyway there's no point in signing some who's not good enough. I'd rather we went all out for a hard defensive midfielder like De Rossi or sign someone like Gundogan who's technically great all round.

I think we should put a cheeky bid in for Benzema in January so real can then buy suarez. Get a good player and weaken opposition. Sorted.

My top DM option would most certainly without a shadow of a doubt be Gundogan. He'd be perfect and I mean PERFECT man for our double pivot.

If we are going to reshape our deep midfield next season(with possibly Lampard and Essien leaving + I would think MVG will be sent on loan following the injury) then I'd like the two players to come in to be Gundogan as I already mentioned and Imbula. Those two would solve our possesion problems in a HEART BEAT!
