Christensen would be a great move and i'd welcome him back with open arms. Apparently Man Utd want him for £12m, we should be all over that. We should bring him home?

celery, it was a sad day when he left on a free transfer and although he was a good footballer to me he occasionally lose concentration and could be week in the challenge. I wouldn’t see it as an upgrade other than on Disasi.

I tend to agree with you celeryking. I haven't treally followed how he's performed at Barcelona or whether he's recent injry free - pretty key given our struggles with imjured CBs - but at that price he is low risk. Much to recolemd him indeed: he is still only 28, is CFC home grown, and is very experienced at highest level. So yes if he is willing to come - but will he be? - we should bring him home and in this transfer window asap imho. BUt will we. It may go against recent SD/ club policy of buying youth only and wanting to get wage bills down and AC may well be on high wages at Barca?

Should consider Jonathan Tah, 28 out of contract in the summer; experienced; natural right footed CB.

Blue Boy , not sure what you’re on about, but he’s certainly better than Chalobah who is bang average.

Jimbo
I have to say that I'm with Blueboy on this one.
AC kept telling every man and there dig that he would sign a new contract only for him and his team to change the goal posts when they knew Barcelona were after a free transfer.
Towards the end, he did not even want to play for us in case he got injured which let's be fair, with his injury record could have easily happened.

Better than Disasi not as good as Chalaboa.

Neither AC nor Rudi were allowed to sign extensions under the sanction to Abramovich. Could have offered them £1bn/ week and would have made no difference as they couldn’t sign it.

Yes thanks fuser and would could add that at that stage was no guarantee that CFC as a club had a future.
