Good read ed
Cant argue with any of it
The only thing pep is undoubtely the best in a massive spending club were ever he has gone
My only complaint is his and i use that term loosely Barcelona and city are so ffing boring to watch
Sterile football i call it.
{Ed001's Note - I can't argue with you there gg, it has gone from marrying flair with highly drilled football, to just creating robotic teams with absolutely no flair.}

Ed, very interesting article and I wouldn’t disagree with your list or the order you have put them in.
I like the look of the Stuttgart manager and he was my No1 choice to takeover from Poch. He hasn’t got the history to be considered as a top manager yet but I think he is the one I would watch out for.
{Ed001's Note - Hoeness was on my short list of potential ones, but never quite made the cut. Like you said, bit too soon, but I can see him getting a bigger job in the next season or two.
And thank you. It is really difficult I have to say, picking just 10 and then deciding on an order. I find I can easily convince myself the order should be totally different the moment I start typing it up!}

Cool thread, thanks. On the subject of Hoeness, who do you think would make a top 10 up and coming managers?
{Ed001's Note - Hoeness, Slot, Alonso, Glasner, Alguacil, Still, Motta, Amorim and Michel off the top of my head. Oh bollox that's only 9 I just noticed! Oh well, I will let someone else think of a 10th as I can't now.}

Quite gg his absent horribly noticeable then as yet his cv so slight at top level ie at top league in any country. This is why he seemed such a huge gamble as appointment and this went with yet another huge overhaul in players. Seemed insane but us fans have to Hooe he will succeed. Or it will be yet another manager brought in. CFC have done pretty well by frequent changes of managers in past but many of us have craved stability and continuity in this appointment. Boehly apparently dead against Poch sacking at end of last season.

I personally don't think poch was sacked
I think he himself had had enough and wanted out as well.

It was described as ' a parting of ways' but most that I've read suggests that though Boehly wanted him to stay the Review by other owner plus SDs wanted him to. leave. As usual Ed002 likely to know the truth?
{Ed002's Note - Winstanley and Stewart were asked to advise on what should happen with MP and they argued that he was not the man to take the club further. Boehly indeed want him given another season but was overruled, hence the change.}

Many thanks as ever Ed002 for giving us this info.

If that's correct about Boehly I hope he's the one who wins out in the takeover battle because we were clearly heading in the right direction in the last quarter of last season and many of the players enjoyed working under him.

Did some comments said Guardiaola's football is boring?
Don't think that better football was played ever than that Guardiaola's Barca.
