If the club are looking to sell one or maybe even two midfielders who would your choice be?

I'm sorry to say CG.

I just feel that he has a ceiling and we will be able to sell above value.

I appreciate this is cold and calculated and will not be a popular opinion.

Probably the bloke we've just brought in given I don't know a great deal about him - other than that he was Leicester's player of the year last season in the Champiuonship, is predominantly left-footed and clearly liked by our new manager - but because I would like to keep the quality I know about in CG, MC and EF.

I haven't felt that midfield was a priority re incoming or outgoings and was a bit baffled by the KDH signing. Perhaps we do need a bit more creative midfield options, though had thought CP would be our number 10. Is KDH an alternative on the left wing/ AM side to to Sterling or Mudryk though?

If we could offload Sterling for KDH given RS's large salary that would be my option thgough RS weighed in with a few key goals last season andc was generally better than the season before.

If we can't renew Conor (and it feels like he's been for sale the last few windows) then I'd reluctantly try and sell him, also maybe Casadei?

That still leaves Enzo, Caicedo, KDH, Lavia, Ugochukwu, Carney, and Andrey Santos, with academy players to push them.

I suspect at least one of Ugochukwu, Andrey or Carney will go on loan to get minutes.

In an ideal world I wouldn’t sell any of them.

The problem is this isn’t an ideal world. So I would sell Gallagher and Casadei. This is despite Enzo being the midfield player that I am most concerned about but he was supposedly carrying an injury for 8 months.

I wouldn’t loan out any of or remaining Midfielders but i guess if they stay fit it might become difficult to manage them all getting game time.

Now KDH is through the door I’m more than happy for Conner to leave . I wish him all the best but a new deal isn’t looking very likely. The club can’t let him run his contract down and risk him leave for nothing. As long as he doesn’t end up playing for the Spuds then I’m cool with it.
