Thankyou again to my fellow posters who commented on Levi. It certainly appears you all see him as a mainstay and possible captain at some point. I totally agree as well and he now goes down on my teamsheet as our left sided centre back for next season. Next question, who plays alongside him? All comments very welcome.

Chalaboa would be my choice but he is leaving. I’m not a fan of Disasi, so the lad we have just signed from Fulham or Fofana when match fit.

I think Guéhi would be perfect alongside him. Both have come through the academy and know the club ethos. Both are also comfortable at bringing the ball out and starting an attack.

I assumed the question was about players we currently have not who Palace have!

Even if Chalobah were to leave I can’t see us signing Guehi. So my choice would be Fofana or Tosin. I imagine Fofana would be the long term choice but he will need to be managed very carefully as he’s basically spent 2 years on the sideline injured. So it’ll likely be Tosin.

Chalobah. Disasi, badiashile and fofana are not near good enough.

Badiashile plays LCB Standard so wouldn’t be partnered with Colwill unless everyone else was injured. Also seem to have forgotten we signed another RCB in Tosin. Is he good enough?

Badiashile, had an initial shaky return but the looked very good again for the last few games.
Unlike some, I rated Fofana pre signing for Chelsea but his ongoing injuries haven’t allowed me to judge if he will be a success at our club.
I’m not a fan of Disasi. This will sound strange but he reminds me, in his attitude, of Gallagher. He is took quick to make a tackle but I like his attitude and effort. He needs to work on his distribution, stay on his feet and I hope our defensive coach works on his positioning.

Fofana and Colwill - the former’s pace and power alongside the more footballing qualities of Colwill. The one area I think Colwill could improve in is from a strength perspective. He looks a little slight at times, especially when dragged wide or defending at the back post.
