Simply can not believe some of the comments on this site. We are only a few days into the transfer window and the toxic dross being spouted is laughable.
As a club we suffered with the sanctions, may even of gone into administration.
Thanks to all involved we are in a very good place and one I would have taken when the sanctions started.

Rudiger is a loss for sure but the others departing don't really concern me.
We move on.
Transfers are very delicate matters and ALL parties must be in agreement, it is not football manager where you click a button and hey fecking ho you have Jules Kounde in defence!

The good people behind the scenes at the club would of worked very hard for long hours over long days to get the sale done and keep us at the top table. Please remember that before launching into toxic rants.
Now settle down and watch as the squad takes shape. Some players will go, some will stay, some will renew contracts and some will not. Players will be signed, loanees will be integrated.

Bottom line is we WILL be competitive, at the top table and with a brilliant manager who carried the club through all the turbulence of recent months.
I have always been glass half full and always be.
Relax and enjoy the rumours, the banter and yourselves.
I'm sitting in my garden enjoying this fine weather with a nice glass of fine port with my wife and hope you lot are enjoying yourselves wherever in this world you are.
Up the Chels and cheers.

Toxic lol its opinions and if you don't like it jog on and drink your port somewhere else
This site used to be a laugh now it's governed by the likes of you and tomb with your woke let's be nice rubbish
Look at other team sites on here they have a laugh and express there whole hearted opinions
On here you have to be polite and not criticise anyone you might offend tomb or g8
You have turned this page into a boring self righteous load of tosh.

G8, I have no doubt they worked hard to get the sale done. Their jobs and livelihoods were at risk. Buck and Marina are collecting £50m for it.
If you are happy to sit and watch us perrenially battle for the Top 4 - so be it. I am not. I want to see us win. Look at City - they walked the league and still they are investing in a world class striker, a top left-back, midfield cover and a versatile attacker. Liverpool have added two top talents and a very good young attacker. Spurs are backing Conte with players he wants - we know what that leads to.
When was the last time we had a title challenge that was credible by February? The last year we backed a manager properly and got his targets in.
If we lose out on Jules Koundé, it is an utter disgrace. We have 1 year to sort this deal out. Barcelona have been in a financial sham for that time and yet still they have managed to get a deal done faster. Tuchel named Koundé in a press conference - it is clear he is a key target. Like I said elsewhere, will not be shocked if this leads to Tuchel leaving.
Until the entire board and scouting structure gets overhauled, we will continue to lose out on the top talent and we will slide into mediocrity. Don't believe me: look at United.

RJ.
You really are living in a fantasy land.
Tell me about the demands that Kounde is making, tell me about the injury issues that appear to be evident, tell me about his current club demands in payment terms about any clauses in his current contract.
Because we aren’t hearing anything it doesn’t mean things aren’t progressing and if you have been anywhere close to negotiating at a decent financial level these things take time and we are just a week or so into the tenure of the new owners and indie just one week into the transfer window
If the player signs elsewhere then it wasn’t meant to be but stop throwing your toys out of the pram.

It doesn’t help on here with some of the reactionary posts based on whatever snippet of information, true or not, that is consumed. I’m sure we can all agree that we want the best for the club…

I’m positive for the future and am hopeful that the new owners will evolve the club in their own way which ultimately will give our managers the best chance of being happy and successful in their roles whilst remaining competitive in their respective leagues.

I’m not sure what “woke” means in the context of the above post but if it means I have zero interest in marking personal comments about managers, players or posters then I guess I am “woke”.

I am critical of the manager and players through the season but I admit to finding it difficult to understand why criticism has to include offensive and sometimes disgraceful personal comments. I think the majority of posters are better than that.

RJ, I assume you will be happy when Kounde joins? I know I will be.

The point I’m trying to make is that we can only make an offer to any club and player. We can’t demand they join us. I know it’s hard to imagine why any player would want to join any club other than Chelsea but unfortunately there are other attractive and good clubs out there mate.

There’s a massive difference between giving an opinion, having a laugh and then just posting negative comment after negative comment.

I’m pro Tuchel and fully trust in the new owners to sign some players but constantly get spammed with negative this, Tuchel out that. The takeover is weeks old, we don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes but I bet their working hard.

Seems some folk on here won’t be happy until we’ve got Pep as a manager and we’ve spent another £1b on transfers.

Here’s a response that isn’t woke, the negativity on here is embarrassing as is the childish impatience because sky sports isn’t announcing Chelsea transfer news every hour of the day.

Fed up of the response to all my posts just being personal attacks because I have a different view.
Absolutely no point in me responding any further.
I'll see you all for the pre-season game in July with Koundé, Dembele and the new barrage of signings that everyone is promising with no evidence.

I just think we should be open to all views. I don’t think RJ is negative, he is pessimistic as he is entitled to be. As it stands at the moment EPL is a two horse race with 15. -20 points to third place. Spurs are going to be stronger, Man U can’t get any worse and there is the unknown quantity: Newcastle. This is how it is now but we don’t know what players we may bring in and let go: so RJ’s views are reasonable given how things are but they may change for the better over the next few weeks.

Take care RJ, I just smile when I get called out for being negative etc etc, I am envious of the blinkered blu tinted fans who think nobody who points out issues was a fan before 2004 and think we all only followed chelsea because we had a rich owner, there are very clear problems with our recent transfers in and out, saying them allowed doesn’t make anyone less of a blue.

I agree with the majority of your post Matt.

There is nothing wrong with having a view,
Positive or negative. It’s the difference of opinions that makes being a football fan so much fun.

I won't jog on gola. you are stuck with me and my positivity. I agree this site should be fun and relaxed hence why I will always call out the toxic posters.
The port tonight is replaced with a nice bottle of dom peri. took Mrs G8 out in the 911 earlier. By the way, happy to buy you a pint come the season, I drink in The Mitre, Dawes Road pre game. I'm well known, big G.

{Ed002's Note - Interesting that is always “big”. None of the “you get down The Mitre and ask for Tiny Todger”.
