Next season our first team squad could include a lot of academy players.

James, Mount, Gallagher, RLC, CHO, Chalaboa, BG (another loan? ) Colwill (another loan? ) Christensen (Barcelona? ) the lad on loan at Coventry who's name I can't spell plus the lads who have been on the fringe of our squad this season.

Like Standard I wish some of our young lads hadn't left our club but generally I'm pleased with the part our academy has played in bringing through some fantastic talent.

As a club we must have one the highest % of academy players in a first team squad.

Im also sure we will keep trying to sign some quality players, particularly for next season.

I should have mentioned Ampadu as well. A couple of posters have said he is playing well. So another potential squad member for next season.

Clearing out some players and having a good dose of Cobham grads in the squad would be the best thing they could do. Time and again the academy players have shown they're versatile, mentally strong, while obviously being very talented and having gotten a top notch football education. Oftentimes they're better players than the targets we read about in the press and on the internet etc.

Mount, James, Chalobah, Gallagher, Maatsen, Sterling (to back up James), Colwill, Callum, Ruben and Gilmour/ Ampadu should all be in the team. Broja I'm not sure about. Think he could use another loan to a more possession oriented team (Brighton could use a good striker, no? ) .
Vale could do a job in the team too to be honest, and I can't fathom why he hasn't gotten more minutes this season while all of our attackers have struggled basically. But I fear the club will deny him a loan and make him train with the U18s or some such because he won't sign an extension. Either that or they sell him, which will be a shame.
