Kante still out, pulisic Injured again, 10 days, so will miss Villa zenit and Spurs, cash in on pulisic, he will never stay for long enough to be what we need, it's not the time to do those sort of deals in winter transfer window but we need kantes successor in while kante is still here and pulisic / Cho replacement, I only say Cho as club are open to move on, ziyech too, he isn't an out snd out winger.

Well Matt that's definitely not a plan for winter's transfer window.

I don't think we are going to sell Pulisic that fast, especially when he is still very young, but I do agree that his injuries are worrying and it seems that he can't stay fit for a long period.

As for Kante, we will definitely get a midfielder in next summer, but again, let's not forget that we have Conor and Billy, which are very good players.

Pulisic out for 10 days imagine my shock one of the biggest purple patch players I’ve seen.

We can’t do anything about players until the next window and we will also have a better idea about other players current contract position.

I think Pusilic is a match winner and I would rather get any Kante injury issues sorted once and for all and if that means he misses the next ten games, so be it.

Pulisic a match winner? I wouldn’t say that he scores on average about 5 goals a season he was the same at Dortmund. Always been a purple patch player. Scored one big goal for us last season against Madrid in the semi and his only other good performance was Palace away where he scored 50% of his seasons goal tally.

His time with us and to a certain extent at Dortmund have been blighted by injuries but when have seen him firing he has looked excellent.

I won’t give up on him as I think he is top player and a match winner. It’s all about opinions.

Pulisic isn't only a potential match winner but has a goalscorers instinct in the box as well which is a rare gift in a player who plays the 10/ 11 position.
But like most players he needs a run of games to be at his best which has proven difficult either though injury or the managers preference, for in recent times, Werner.
As things stand we don't need him to start anyway so hopefully he can work his way back to his best as an impact sub.

He isn’t a match winner and that’s simple.

8.) 10 Sep 2021

It’s not “simple” it’s just your opinion and that’s fine.

I agree totally Strasbourg.

Show me the logic then please if he is a match winner? You must have logic if you’re so sure?

We can come back to this conversation in May next season where he’s played in about 60% of games and hasn’t scored more than 6 goals. Loses the ball a lot too.

I hope I’m proved wrong and you two are wrong as long as Chelsea do well but a lot of posters take offence by the way ‘I say it as it is’. Sorry for the offence.

Eider, I absolutely take no offence. As far as I’m concerned your entitled to your opinion but unlike you I will not dismiss other people’s opinions.

Strasbourg, lots of opinions are born out of ignorance but everyone is allowed an opinion and I for one will always defend any individual to have that opinion. As long it’s not offensive.

I think the better definition is that he is a "potential match winner". But obviously we haven't seen much of that besides the few games after the restart two seasons ago.
Anyway, I think Pulisic's potential is huge and his body might settle a bit more in a couple of seasons. But the fact is that his body and muscular strength right now is not the very best around and this is evident by all the injuries he has sustained.

Hazard leaves and the vast majority of fans in his first season truly believe Pusilic is the second coming after some sparkling performances.

We could see what type of player he could be but since that early run of games he has hardly had any continuous stretches of matches and had continued injuries.

I believe he will be a top player for us, I’ve seen what he can be and what he can do and given a run of games and no injuries he will be, in my opinion, a match winner.

Oh no G8 looks like king Frank is back again hehe. What are me and the rest of the guys who started supporting Chelsea in 2004 going to do? We’ll have to make up rumours like kids do about people like Olive as we have no football knowledge.

I enjoy the G8 posts and Olive is now a legend.

Eidur, why the aggression?

Aren't most 21 / 22 year old Premier League players "purple patch" players? Can't think of too many who play at a consistently high level, especially when they're disrupted by injuries.

Good point “J”.

J I think it's because Pulisic is over hyped a lot and surely it is not very helpful to be called Captain America on a regular basis.

An unfortunate nickname but probably accurate.

He has had one prolonged run of games and was excellent.

When he eventually gets consistent run of games let’s judge him then.

11 Sep 2021 14:03:16
Thank you J. Personally I don’t care whether Pulisic gets injured 94 times a in a week, for me he’s a super player that a role in this Chelsea team.
