Watching the Island vs Germany match and I can’t fathom how a striver would miss the kind of chances Werner has eased tonight. There’s something wrong with him because this is beyond lack of confidence.

I saw one of them, jeez it was a shocker, his scored 3 and got assist on international break but these misses will be what his judged on, worrying.

Obinna nwanne, true he scored 3goals in as many games but it could have been like 6 or 7 goals in 3game. the way he gets into scoring positions and still find a way to miss sitters is just mind blowing.

His finishing truly is shocking. Surely the scouting team could have seen his finishing was Torres esc.

I think he is a player who will always frustrate with his finishing. I just don’t see it changing but I’m happy for him to stretch defences and with his overall work rate.

Beachcruiser nwanne m; we all know that Werner’s finishing has being below par, but let’s just drum up support for him cos the way I see it- Werner will be very instrumental to us this season like he was last season, it’s still not late yet, this season can still be his breakthrough season.

Werner sure has problem finishing but his off-the-ball runs are superb and should be commended, his runs can create a lot of space for his team mates. Liverpool’s Firmino doesn’t score much but just like Werner he’s very instrumental to the team even when he’s not scoring. So guys let’s drum up some support for Werner this season and be patient with him.
