Klopp is becoming more bitter by the day At his press conference when asked about Ronaldo he said something like he has never been involved in a " commercial " signing. Obviously, Ronaldo is a short term project but he will probably score 20+ premier league goals and improve Man U.

He whines an awful lot about other clubs. Not a good look for him, and I genuinely don't like him very much.

I do think there is something in what Klopp is saying. But he should keep out of how other clubs are run. United are definitely protecting their brand. Their hero going to City? £500k a week. That mob will need to sell some amount of shirts, mugs, pens, wallpaper, bed covers, slippers, pyjamas, baby bibs etc etc etc…. you get my drift. In other words they’ll probs recoup a large chunk in commercial sales. On the pitch? I’d say it is 50:50 how that will work out. As a Chelsea fan I am not fearful of Ronaldo. Even in his first time around v United, I always had an eye on Rooney. I was at OT when Ashley made Ronaldo miscontrol the ball and run it out the park for the umpteenth time. Ashley quickly signalled to him that he had him in his back pocket……and he did. Quality.

Stephen I was at that game when Ashley had him in his pocket. Ashley was probably the best left back in the world then.

Jimbo56 I really think Ashley Cole is for sure TOP 3 best LB ever.

Especially at that time when LB's most important role was to defend 1st and attack if possible.
