Having browsed some comments on here earlier with regards to potential signings I gave my mate Olive a quick ring, she was on lower deck duty but we managed a quick chat. I asked her who had been on board and what had she heard. Now please take this in the spirit that it is meant but the talk is not going away about Lukaku signing, that remains the priority.
Other names in 1 or 2 positions are being banded about but the other priority at the moment is agreeing new contracts with a couple of current players. Nothing will happen until after the EURO's but all is very relaxed onboard. Oh, and finally I asked if the name Rice ever comes up? She told me all the time, as Roman enjoys basmatti and his sons enjoy pilau but no talk of Declan so we can put that rumour to bed.
