Fair few outlets reporting four interest in Kounde today. Personally I think he's a very good player but also he's very short. Don't see why Marc Guehi couldn't do just as good a job as him for us. Hoping we spend the money beefing up the midfield with someone like Rice and a proper box to box midfielder like Tielemans.

Kounde is absolute class and would be my pick of defenders. I understand the height concerns about he’s just as tall as Silva and both have an excellent leap. Additionally most teams nowadays rarely attack aerially and against us in particular most teams set up to counter and run behind our defense which Kounde’s pace would be suited to.

Don’t know much about Kounde but as for height Guehi is under 6 foot: 1.82 m.

Strasbourg he would replace Kovacic for me easily as he is average in my eyes. We won’t win a league with him and Jorginho protecting the defence.

I think Kovacic has been decent under Tuchel, but if the opportunity came about to sign Tielemans I'd want the club to snap him up. He's a better player than Kovacic, for me.
