When I see how well we play with a fluid front three, I do question if we should be looking to sign a typical number nine. Haaland is a bit of a different animal, very good movement for a bigger guy, but I wouldn't be looking at the likes of Lukaku.

Personally, if Haaland is definitely a no, I'd be looking at an Aguero, Martinez (Inter) or Dybala style forward. Not saying we're interested in, or likely to sign, any of those players; just that's the style of player we should be looking at.

If happy having Havertz there as long as he comes into form rather than spend money on an Aguero, Martinez. We do need more goalscoring threats though as apart from Mount the team has been inconsistent. A winger like Grealish or Sancho would help a bundle and even a midfielder whoâ€™s more complete than Kovacic which isnâ€™t hard. Maybe a Barella or Tielemans. Iâ€™m not a Jovacic fan as they need a system to help their deficiencies.

I would like a beast hence Haaland. I also think he would create all sorts of space for our midfield to move into.

Mbappe would be a dream but from what I remember the Eds have said the most likely outcome is an extension to his current contract.

Whether Haaland is a realistic option I don't know but if not I would be happy to see the MHP combo given a chance to develop.
The other issue with Haaland is where Kai would play and would that mean he becomes less effective than he is starting to look as a false 9.
A few tricky decisions to be made in the summer.

Man City's top scorer in the league is Gundogan this season, with twelve goals - he's also their only player in double figures.

Shows you don't need a 25 goal striker to be an effective attacking force and win the league. They've won it easily and have hardly. played a recognised striker.

Halaand is a must for me as he can be 35 goals striker for now and in the future. chelsea of the old would get Agueri regardless, on free and could make a difference anytime. I will like a dynamic midfielder who can pass and shoot to create for the attackers because we don't have that player that distribute ball across the attacking lines. as for Kai, he would provide options and there are so many matches to be played, even ifhe was was supposed to claim a spot. He will come a life at some point.
So me being greedy will replace giriud with aguero and get Halaand and a midfilder with different attribute like forward passing and shooting and let j5 get his Italy wish.

Ilo, I think the Jorginho Italy/ Napoli wish is for the end of his contract. So, my guess is he will be playing for us next season.

Tomb mate Halaand will happen just remember I was this optimistic. Again aguero would be a good acquisition. he's EPL proven and I'm sure we can manage his injury worries better which will make him even more useful an Halaand could lrean from him especially about the EPLand allow for tactical switches but I will like a dynamic cm. if RB is not sold permanently he should be brought back as he TT can touch out a player we have all wanted. can shoot but not sure of his passes.
