Morning Ed Do you think it realistic that any club pay a reported £600.000 at week for a player? I would rather Chelsea look elsewhere for a forward than pay Harland that much surely that plus the 128 mil and agent fees is to rich for most club or is this just paper talk?

{Ed002's Note - PSG will be paying more than that for Mbappe to keep him two more years, or at least try. Barcelona pay Messi a lot more - Bale, Neymar, Ronaldo. Arsenal were paying Oezil £350k per week.}

hate those kind of numbers but its what the business nature of the game demands.
if only there would be a cap to salaries and then some performance based add ons . would work for the clubs and keep the players motivated . id think

well i could be wrong as i make that sort of money in 10 years what haaland would make in a week.

Alexis Sanchez was paid over £500,000 a week at Man U if you include bonuses. David De Gea is also now 'earning' over £500,000 a week including bonuses!

I guess the club will pay whatever THEY think a player is worth.
