Just a thought. Silva got his second booking for a block which then went into the player, yellow card snd free kick, werner had a cross in the box and player caught him exactly the same? No excuse from
Result but it's a game changing incident and no consistency.

I agree Matt . I thought that was a pen . It's strange that it was not given. I wonder what the rule is . Is a pen only awarded of the player asks or falls over.

I too thought Silva yellow was unfair and not a red card . Having said that . we should have done much much better to close out the game even with 10 men.

I thought the refereeing was poor, although can't complain about the two yellows for Silva and WBA were the much better team.

Thought the Siva second yellow was a bit harsh . could have just awarded the freekick and kept it 11vs11

ahh forget this . need to put this result past us and look farward.

I must say . i like this feeling of getting angry that we lost . brings me back the the JM days where we hardly lost and always put in a performance after a bad result.

This is the second time that same referee ‘cooked’ Chelsea in a game this season.

Granted he is a poor ref but so are the majority of them.

Could have been a pen and maybe the second yellow was a bit harsh but they were not outrageous decisions.

Anyway, the refs performance shouldn’t cover up our performance.

This is when managers earn there salary. We need a reaction. We go again.

I just mean in the same Game there either both fouls or none are fouls, that’s my grievance.
