Hazard made a 15min cameo at weekend and has suffered another injury of 4-6 weeks. I'd this bad luck / the medical team and how valuable are good medical team, I read that two left Man City and went to Liverpool. Liverpool have had lots of inuries and city not as many. Coincidence or poor medical staff.

Shame for the lad.

{Ed001's Note - just to point out that Hazard's problem is lifestyle. He has always suffered with niggly injuries because he does not live entirely professionally, in particular his diet is extremely poor. I have no sympathy for him as he is making the choices that are causing the injuries.}

Although it’s self inflicted, that's an even bigger shame Ed.

Could end up shortening in his career. Silly lad.

{Ed077's Note - I think Samuel Eto'o made some comments about Hazard's lifestyle and poor attitude towards training some years ago as well. He basically called Hazard's recent troubles in advance}

But Hazard had a much better injury record at Chelsea. Do you guys think that was because the Chelsea staff was better at keeping his lifestyle in check or it got even worse as he became a galactico?

{Ed001's Note - at Madrid players are given much more free rein to live their life, they are treated with kid gloves and mollycoddled to a large degree. Plus the training is not as hard there, so their fitness is generally lower anyway.}

I feel sympathy and empathy for Hazard every day, I wish there’s something I can do for him, he doesn’t deserve these injuries. My prayers are with you Hazard, it will get better.

{Ed077's Note - why? Most of his issues are of his own doing. And he was always busy talking about Real Madrid and Zidane while he was at Chelsea.

I have nothing against Hazard for liking Real Madrid: a club he has loved from his childhood days, at least, he gave Chelsea close to 8 years of fruitful service and was sold for a good amount of money- that means something for me.

I always thought hazard was a brilliant player one of the most skillful we ever had
I wouldn't want him back he always was a lazy git but it's a shame if he put in hard yards like Ronaldo imagine the legend of a player he could of been up there with the greats I'd say
Rory mcilroy is the same.

It's a shame what's happening to him but yeah he probably had a hand in it as well. He got away with it before because he was young but not anymore.

Also, it's obvious that the grass isn't always greener elsewhere. Maybe these big name players should stay where they are very good and are loved a bit more.

Isn't this a guy who, before signing for Chelsea, got subbed off and went for a burger in the coach?

A Chelsea great. But, for someone who got his dream move, he hasn't exactly applied himself at Madrid.

Ed001, do you think his injury issues would have partly been less were he to stay at Chelsea?

{Ed001's Note - yes.}
