TBH there is no way back for Abraham if he is sulking and being a prima donna. If he thinks he is good enough he should sign the extension and fight for his place and perhaps reflect on how he could improve his game just like CHO he thinks he has made it and is the complete article- far from it.

My view on Abraham is that he's got a pretty good scoring record, all be it mostly against opposition in the bottom half of the table.

He's hold up play isn't great, he's not quite worked out when to hold onto the ball and when to lay it off. My biggest frustration around him is that he rarely seems to anticipate a ball into the box, he's never on his toes expecting the delivery. This often results in low crosses flashing past him and good opportunities going by with no threat on the goal.

Look, he's an excellent second choice for us - he's just never going to be the main guy I think he wants to be / thinks he is. If he can't accept that, and threatens to leave, then he should be shown the door.

Tammy needs to improve no doubt but what posters aren't mentioning is his physical progress over the last 2-3 seasons - non existent. Every time I watch snippets of warm ups and training sessions the club share on social media and their media channel, he's always looking half arsed. Whilst Reece, Mason and Callum have taken an interest in gym work and supplementary training outside of what's prescribed for them, Tammy seems to be more interested on being in insta and playing FIFA. My opinion as a striker and taking into account the role he's been asked to play during games, he needs to put the head down and work on getting bigger and stronger. He has enough speed and technical ability to put away chances but not the physicality to power through gaps, hold off players, hold the ball and he's always off balance at the slightest touch. Personally I think this is all that's stopping him.

Ed002 other than haaland, any other strikers we are looking at with possibly tammy and giroud leaving we will likely need one.

I don’t want to misquote any of the Eds but I think they said the club want him to stay.

He wants assurances and he is not going to get them.

So it’s simple, he either excepts our contractual offer or he doesn’t. If he doesn’t he leaves.

I think he has a lot of good points to his game but IMO great strikers anticipate chances, they have an instinct. That for me, at the moment is missing from his game can he improve in that sphere? I hope so but it’s not a certainty.
