Are we looking to replace Jorghinio?

Declan Rice too young and does not play the Jorgh role anyways.

Thomas Partey (Atletico Madrid) 27. Ghanain. In the Essien mould. Alongside Kante would work for me.

I would think with Gallagher, Ampadu and Gilmour it’s unlikely we’d need a replacement. Also seems highly unlikely we’d be able to get a decent fee for Jorginho, potentially only a loan with an option to buy, in which case I’d keep him and see how the rest of the season pans out for our younger midfielders.

#fuser, none of those players is ready for a start at the moment and Partey would add the highly required steel and presence in the middle. We should be looking to add more experience in the team for balance.
I have been wondering how we're not linked to Thomas Partey especially when the price is not so much. He can play for and with Kante.
