A question for my fellow posters and Eds.

Is Zouma going to be the top CH he looked like being pre-injury?

{Ed001's Note - probably not at Chelsea. He has lost his confidence in his touch and needs to be first choice to do so. He improved so much at Everton but has regressed again since returning.}

i thought he was decent yesterday and is always impressive aerially, definitely looks better next to tomori as opposed to rudi or christensen imo.

His positioning and his ability to read danger is slowly improving. He’ll compliment Tiago Silva if we play him as the guy who attacks the ball while TS sweeps up. He’ll also learn loads. There aren’t many CBs who are as strong as him. VVD is probably the only one that springs to mind.

For me Zouma was our best CH last season but he didn’t have to beat much.

He Is so strong in the air and he improved throughout last season in general play.

In both games this season he has been our best defender by miles.

I’m guessing one of our defenders will be leaving and I hope it’s Rudiger. I was just told that Napoli are interested but I have my doubts.

Zouma has been our best defender by far in the 2 games this season - can't wait for Zouma and Silva to play together and develop an understanding.

Also think Zouma improved enormously last season after shaky start and is j7st about back to pre injury best.
