Ed001, Chelsea appear to have a lot of young, talented CBs at the moment in Tomori, Ampadu, Guehi, Sarr, Mbuyamba, Levi Colwill etc.

What are your thoughts on them?

{Ed001's Note - that was not ideal last season, as it made them a bit erratic. The arrival of Thiago Silva should help guide them and allow them to develop into top class players. Though I do think it will be only a couple that will probably make it with Chelsea as a defender. Ampadu, for example, will probably move into midfield. There is a lot of quality there, but they can't all play and going out on loan just puts off the inevitable when a decision is made on which to keep.

The weakness with Tomori, for example, is his positional sense, something which Thiago Silva does not lack. Playing them together could be the making of Tomori.}

I agree but I think Tomori is going on loan : (.

{Ed001's Note - so do I. Which is a mistake in my opinion. The loans make the club money, but they are not really conducive to building a cohesive team. It is making it so you have to have a constant turnover of players to compete at the top, when you should be able to just tweak a winning team to keep it competitive. Sometimes you are better making less money in return for long term stability in the squad.}

I agree. Shame really . especially to Everton when I don't think he is
guarantee game time.
