Out of curiousity, what would everyone's preferred CB partnership be for the season ahead? For me it has to be Zouma + Thiago Silva.

Rudiger and Christensen are just so poor right now, I know they'll both be playing at some point in the season ahead. But whenever I see them, they just look like an accident waiting to happen.

Rudiger is like a headless chicken. Plus he literally just body checks his opponents so blatantly obvious, he's been so lucky he's not given away more penalties. And with Christensen, he just caves in as soon as there's any physical contact. Once a striker has gotten the better of Christensen once in a game, he just loses all concentration.

Zouma will be sold if Chelsea can't move AC or Rudi on.

I actually think Silva and Zouma complement one another excellently. Zouma is a monster athletically and can go toe to toe with any attacker while Silva is a tremendous organizer and is great on the ball.

Silva and then Tomori or Zouma for me. What really helps is Silva can play either side where as the rest of our defenders all seem to favour the right.
