The longer this Havertz saga drags on, I just get the horrible feeling some club will steal a march on us and sign Havertz from under our noses. A bit like all the talk of Werner to Liverpool, then we just came in and got him out of nowhere really.

Also Ed's, any truth to us looking at Ter Stegen from Barca? Thanks!

Ed002, just we were hearing just the other day Havertz wanted his move to Chelsea completed by next week. Now we're hearing Leverkusen say there's no chance Havertz will leave before their Europa League resimes and he's definitely going to be playing in their Europa League games next month.

Obviously us fans have no real idea what's going on, but it just feels like it could be a long drawn out transfer. Always leaving a chance for another club to pip in and sign Havertz from under our noses.

Sorry if this seems ridiculous, it's just how it looks and sounds to us fans with no inside knowledge.

{Ed002's Note - You should perhaps ignore anything about dates that you hear. It has been known all along that BL wanted their player to see out the season with them - and that is just fine.}
