I think Abraham is getting a bit of a tough ride from some fans.

There's no doubting he's come back out of form, and there's quite rightfully questions as to whether he could be the main man at our level. But, he's had 16 goal involvements (13 goals, 3 assists) in his first full season with the first team and will improve. Werner is coming in as top quality competition, although they could easily play together too, and I think that competition will improve Abraham.

I certainly don't think we should be looking to sell him, we need competition in the striker department. Don't want to end up in a situation like Spurs, overly reliant on one quality striker with zero alternatives.

I presume that we all want him to stay (cos he’s a good player) but he has to sign his new deal first. Personally, I want him to stay and I think Werner coming to the club will improve him even more.

Tammy should sign the deal at a lower wage I’m sorry but he shouldn’t be getting 80k plus a week when he’s has one good half of a season. If he doesn’t want to compete then he can go he shouldn’t be expecting to start every game with bad form also.

Unfortunately I think the club have potentially set a wage precedent with the deal CHO reportedly signed.

I don’t think Tammy has gotten as tough of a ride on here as some players have but I do think a lot of the comments regarding Tammy have been relative to the individuals expectations. When he gets slated it is seemingly in the context of his capability to perform the job of a top 4 striker which is a big ask. I don’t think anybody is naive to the fact that Tammy’s success has largely come in the championship and we don’t create a ton of chances as a team. I also think the wages argument is silly. Anybody in life is worth what someone is willing to pay them.
