Thought Kanté played very well lone DM today. Maybe we could ship out Jorginho after all and bring in Havertz. Just happy with the three points in the end. I'm a massive fan of Mount and Pulisic both very underrated players.

Set pieces are a nightmare for us that's why I don't understand why Zouma doesn't start he's out best defender and an aerial beast IMO.

Yeh Kante was a warrior tbh. He had
brilliant game.

However, I will say that Jorginho brings the ball out beautifully which our CB's were struggling to do all day so he gives a different option for games we are chasing. Also don't forget the experience. We are likely to lose Willian, Pedro aswel.

Personally Shak I think Jorginho is very overrated on the ball and I don’t see what he offers. A lot of our fans make out he’s not far of Cesc which baffles me as a lot of Jorginho’s balls are hit and hope over the top. I seen Mikel play more adventurous passes than Jorgi and that’s saying something I’m just not a fan of him and don’t see what he does. I’d much rather a Makelele type their or Casemiro. They’re not going to be Xavi on the ball let’s be honest just a presence and ball winner. As long as you’ve got midfielders either side good on the ball you should be fine.

I wouldn't compare him to Cesc but he generally can pass the ball out very quick which leads to quicker attacks. His pretty good with the one touch stuff. It stops all the constant passing between CB's and full backs.

What a surprise kante playing class in the position he is the best in the world at. Similar story to the whole season today, bossed the game didn’t take our chances. Thought willian had a decent game but I do think it’s time for him and Pedro to move on especially with Werner/ ziyech already brought in. Keeping willian will only hamper CHO, Mount and RLC game time. I can’t help but think a true leader is needed at the back, Thiago Silva for a season would do. All in all great 3 points today to give us a little breathing space.

To be fair to the man, Kante can play anywhere and will still put in a performance. The man is sheer class.

I do agree, we need a leader in defence. We need someone who can defend and is positionally astute. It will make all the difference.

Against teams that are going to press you high, you need a no.6 who has the ability to rotate possession as quickly as possible. Kante might not be as effective as he was today at no.6 against a team like City, Liverpool or Leicester. Jorginho is better in possession in those circumstances, obviously he isn't upto the required standard defensively. But if you want the ball and be on the front foot then his pretty decent with his 1 touch stuff. Gilmour will be the future, he seems to have both worlds in his play.

I understand Jorginho's downside is his pace on transitions but when it comes to build-up against teams that press you high, Jorginho is really good at moving the ball with quick one touch passes.

This is why Gilmour will be very crucial for us hopefully in the future. He seems to have both worlds in his locker.

Agree Shak but I don’t know who, Ruben Dias maybe he looks like a young Ramos and Portuguese centre backs do tend to look solid. I’m not a fan of Koulibaly for the price or Upamecano thinks he’s just a glorified Rudiger.

Might get slated but maybe even Declan Rice? He played very well there for West Ham the other day and that’s always been his natural position.

BlackLivesMatter, I was thinking exactly the same thing when watching West Ham - if we're going to buy Declan Rice, he should be bought as a CB.
