As things stand we will potentially lose three first team squad players at the end of June.

If that is the case would it be reasonable to continue with the seasons fixtures at a date after the end of June?

I'm hoping these sort of issues will be taken into consideration by the governing bodies.

As far as i know teams will be able to give out of contract players a new short term one so they can finish the season but don't think anything's conclusive as of yet. Don't see how this season can finish anyway, even if we played behind closed doors.

I’m sure clubs can offer short term contract extensions but that will only create more potential problems.

The more I think about a solution, the more I think the season will be declared void.

The only solution is to eventually finish the season behind closed doors. Contracts will be sorted, if players don't want to sign them then it would be done without them. I think Willian offering to play without a contract isn't really possible.

But, reports are now circulating that the National League will imminently void their season. This means no promotion to, or relegation from, League 2 which may have a domino effect all the way up to the Premier League.

Whatever happens, it's a drop in the ocean compared to the way this is effecting people's lives. The longer this goes on for the less important what happens to the football season will become.

Good points J and you are spot on football is of little consequence in the current environment but we all need something to take our mind off this awful situation.
