It sounds from your comments that many of your choices are more suited to LWB Ed 001.
I am a fan of Alonso providing the team is set up to take a account of his defensive weakness.
Who from your list is significantly better defensively whilst still contributing in the final third including goals?

Fair enough Ed, I watched Lodi in Brazil and he's brilliant. Heir apparent to Marcelo in the Brazil squad easily.
