The problem with needing players in January are the best are not available, problem with panic buying is waste of transfer kitty and very rarely pays off, disadvantages are like today's stories that Werner will move in the summer but with Liverpool keen he is keen to go there over us, hopefully not true but we will face competition, top 4 is huge.

Agree Matt. Just because we can, doesn't mean we should.

Buying for tha sake of it shouldn't happen and I'd rather not buy anyone than end up with a player who doesn't fit.
