When we lose or perform badly this place is flooded with comments, I want to see how much we get on here tonight.

Brilliant just absolutely brilliant, positive football, control, Technique and class. Not once did we look out of control of the game. Hats off to Lamps and the lads.

Special mention to Willian, Mount, Alonso, Kante and Zouma.
The whole team was as unit.

It's been a while since I felt so comfortable with a lead. Usually our leads don't last, however, today was magnificent.

I hope the players can really kick on now.

ELI, your point is well made by I can except posters and fans being critical when our performance deserves it but it’s a lack of constructive criticism that does my brains in.

I also dislike the offensive language used to describe a player or his performance.

I’ve got to add Eli I thought Tammy was superb really gave Alderweireld a hard game which is no easy feet I know he didn’t score but hold up play and work rate was fantastic, he’s really impressed me so far this season.

Frank got it wrong and players were too laid back v Bournemouth, tonight was the complete opposite, superb, 3 at the back shocker them and they didn’t have time to react, credit where it’s due and criticism too. Willian AND alonso, brilliant. 2 best performances have been 352 this season,

Completely agree with TomB about offensive language re players, constructive criticism fine though judge a player over a length of time and realise that they are human and likely to have highs and lows. Thought our midfield bossed much of the game, certainly the first 60 mins or so, and the three at the back made us look more comfortable in defense while freeing up wing backs to get in more crosses/ behind the opposition defense. Wonder if Frank will use this more often? Kova and Kante fantastic, Willian brilliant, and these seniors plus Dave (back to Duricell Bunny best) and Tony R inspiring the youngsters around them too (and vice versa at times perhaps! ) . Tammy a handful, Mount looking back to his best. We still need to be a bit more clinical with taking our chances, we are still at early stage of rebuilding process so mustn't get too carried away, but this game was a joy to watch, if especially the first 45 mins. Now we need to play like this when teams come to park a bus at the Bridge and hit us on counter. perhaps the three at the back and two wing backs (Conte) system could be tried at home too?

Top post as always JBS. As you say, will be interesting to see we line at home against Southampton on Boxing Day.

Thanks TomB, always enjoy your excellent posts, and indeed it will be very interesting to see line up versus Southampton and can find way to break down stubborn opposition at home more easily than so far this season.

Willian was immense in this game. Mount really creative, his passing is truly something. Frank gave us an insight into his tactical ability. Great tactical victory by Frank. No DVDs today Jose. Frank showed his ability to change tactics and formations when and where necessary and also to galvanise the players into having a real team spirit. 3 very important points. Clean sheet.

Jose is not special anymore. Jose Mourinho is not happy with VAR and after the game he said: "I hope Rudigar recovers from the broken ribs, for sure he will have some broken ribs". Jose - the non-special one - has to understand that the point is Son kicked out at another player and you are not allowed to do that. It is totally unnecessary and Son got the red card he deserved. Also, considering that Rudiger was then racially abused by the Spurs fans. I don't think it is a good idea for the Spurs manager to join in with Rudiger abuse.

The problem with three at the back when Conte was in charge, especially in the second season, was that it was so defensive that more often than not it was five at the back. I seem to remember Huddersfield away that season, they wanted to sit back and counter whist our wingbacks sat back too - it was a boring war of attrition.

Against Wolves and now Spurs this season we've looked good and aggressive playing three at the back with offensive wingbacks - really want to see us develop that system moving forward.

Would love to see an offensive 343 Vs Southampton - think it'll make breaking them down a bit easier.
