I think Rüdiger shouldn't even come straight back in you know. Zouma and Tomori are growing as a pair 🔥.

Being honest watching Rudiger he’s poor in the air for someone his size and I like Zouma starting as he’s more dominant. As for Tomori he’s one of the best one v one defenders around right now next to him.

Don't think Zouma did as well as I can read other people do. What a silly header he made, which led to us kicking the ball out just before the throw in which almost lead Ajax to 1-0. I quite simply think he's too prone to errors, and I would personally prefer both AC and Toni. I think it's clear, however, that Tomori must start. He's quite simply our best CB with Toni out - and who knows, perhaps he's even better than Toni.

Well said CFCShak, Rudiger is quality and I see the future being him and Tomorri. Zouma has recovered well after his early season form but still makes too many mistakes and is akward on the ball. Ampadu might be the answer as well long term if Lamps wants to play him as a CB and not as a DM.

For me, rudiger is easily our best centrehalf once healthy. Christensen in my opinion is very prone to minor injuries and seems to lack confidence in his game when things aren’t going great. I think Zouma is incredibly limited on the ball and this gets exposed by teams who sit back and allow him to have all day on the ball. Tomori has been excellent defensively but really needs to eliminate the suicidal giveaways he’s been guilty of recently. That said a back two of him and rudiger have the athleticism to play a high press and recover.
