Hey ED001, I know it's still early days, but I would love your assessment on Frank Lampard as our manager so far. Personally I believe he's doing really well with the players he has, but I'd love your opinion as well.

{Ed001's Note - he is doing well so far, but the true test of his time is when things go wrong and what he does to put it right. He has come in at just the right time, because he can build a good team with very few egos to get in the way as most are young. It is perfect for him as it gives him the chance to build the foundations before adding the more difficult to deal with elements on top.

Right now though, all he has to do is keep it going, keep the youngsters morale up and work on defending set pieces. Other than that, Chelsea are beginning to look like a well-oiled machine, just in need of the right bells and whistles to finish it off.}

If you don't mind me asking Ed which players do you think would suit Frank to finish this team off?

{Ed001's Note - that is a tough one because most of what you need you have already, it just needs developing. You just need some upgrades on players such as Willian and Pedro, who are fading. But the one weakness I think that does need to be addressed in the transfer market is the keeper, Kepa. He might grow into a top class keeper, but right now he is not there or even near to it. Too many positional errors and he has weak wrists.}

Not a chance Kepa will be replaced whether or not he deserves to be dropped with that £75m price tag. I agree with Ed that he isn’t the finished article yet but I think we have to accept he’s our number 1 for the foreseeable future.

{Ed001's Note - I fully agree with you, he won't be replaced, at least not yet.}

I agree on the wingers and Kepa Ed. I think obviously we need to aim for Sancho he'd fit right in here because he's got a lot of friends. CB is still an awkward one because I don't know who. Tomori has been quality but its still early days yet.

Kepa I agree on. His wrists aren't powerful enough he needs to be stronger at shot stopping. I remember when it looked like we were getting Alisson before Liverpool boy how good would we be with him.

{Ed001's Note - I was thinking of Ampadu as the CB.}

I rate Kepa very highly and remain confident that he will in the future be recognised as the No1 goalkeeper in the world.
