Any one heard or read of David Luiz refusing to train the squad today cos he wants a move to Arsenal. Arsenal too are pushing for him too. Good news or bad news? What do you think?

Hey Obinna,

I say very bad news if true, the timing and way it's being done is terrible.

If this was early in the window and We didn't have the ban hanging over Us I wouldn't be fussed but under the circumstances I think it's really poor alround.

The one thing I've never questioned with Luiz is His attitude and leadership so if this is true, if, then I am shocked and deeply disappointed.

Ironically He's not a good fit for Arsenal at all.

I feel Lampard must have told D. Luiz that, the number of games that he will start will reduce, D. Luiz didn't like that. He tells his agent who happens to have close ties with Arsenal. Knowing that Arsenal wants a centre half, his agent quickly pushes D. Luiz's agenda to Arsenal whom on consulting their manager Unai Emery (a friend of D. Luiz) gives the move a thumbs up.

100% behind lamps. However if he's made it too obvious that he's in a reduced role without being able to buy that's a mistake. Possibly an early sign he's going to need time to learn how to handle big name player's. Just because he was one doesn't mean he instantly knows what he's doing in that respect.

Eddie, IMO no player should be guaranteed a place in the first team.

Good performances deserve team selection, nothing else!

Fair point Tom but maybe don't make it so clear he's out the squad until we can reinforce or the windows closed.

Anyway this is all just speculation, we don't know yet if that's why.
