Decent first half overall. Mount looks excellent and Tammy looks decent. Frustrated at the lack of link up with Tammy and Batshuayi though, both been very selfish. Zappacosta and Kovacic have been absolutely dreadful.

Bakayoko has proven to us us that he can be a slow starter (at Monaco, AC Milan and in his first stint at Chelsea) so let's be a bit patient with him as he gets into the groove.

I’ve seen a lot of people say Kovacic did well but I must’ve been watching a different game. He gave the ball away a lot and was constantly trying long passes that weren’t working. I’ll put it down to rust given it’s so early in pre season!

Just a gentle reminder to a few posters. It's only been 1 week of pre season training and here we are calling players dreadful, out of their depth, rusty. Get a grip will some of you. this is called pre season training for a reason. absolute embarrassment.

Calm down mate, just assessing the performances. You can say a performance was dreadful without meaning the player overall is dreadful. Hoping to see improvement game to game and the sloppiness gone by the end of pre season. Pre season is used to impress the manager so players should be giving it their all.

Pre season don’t make me laugh they only have two week off at most they don’t forget how to play football in two weeks if they play bad it’s not pre season they just played bad end of, these players don’t go on ale for 2 weeks and eat burgers and kebabs every day.
