Ed, please tell us that we are replacing 7 of our starting line up tonight by the end of this transfer window. Kepa, Rudiger, Kante and Higuain are the only ones I'd keep for next season. Brutal but needed.

{Ed018's Note - I can all but guarantee that won’t happen. But maybe it’s time to get CHO, RLC, and Christensen some more starts}

CHO and RLC need a chance. Sarri needs to stop being stubborn. If he doesn't then these players will cost him his job.

100% ed18. It’s for all us to see that Sarri football isn’t working. Certain players are not playing well. Certain players have the potential. I think he only knows his way, which isn’t good for our team.

RLC, ChO, Christensen, Emerson deserve a proper run in the side. Pedro and Willian have to leave it’s a joke that they still get picked over CHO. No other side I mean no other side would have them over CHO.

{Ed018's Note - I have no idea.}

The same posters/ fans who will now slaughter Sarri are, in some cases the same one who were raving about him and begging the club to appoint him.

The same posters who have raved about certain players and given pelters to others will at some stage look at the whole group and see the problems run much deeper than the likes of Willian, Alonso, Morata and Jorginho!

I want us to win every game but I’m aware that changing a manager because players are not performing will NOT always cure the fundamental problem.

The Sarri quotes over the next day or so will be interesting but I just hope that the club supports the manager (I’m not a fan) and cuts out the cancer.

Nibby, even if he did what you ask and I’m sure he won’t, it won’t magically make the ball move quicker.

It won’t make midfielders move beyond the forward line. Frank Lampard are hard to find.

It won’t stop all of our so called wide players all wanting to come inside.

It won’t suddenly give us players who can cross a ball.

The problems are bigger than a single player!

Gianfranco, we have now had our last three managers all making critical comments about the the teams motivation.

The club chose to sack two and my guess is Sarri will end up being given the Spanish archer as well.

At some stage the club has to set out what it wants, pick a manager who can fulfill their requirements and stick with him. If any player wants to rock the boat in anyway, just show them the door.

It absolutely pains me to say this and may take some stick for it but I think from the team perspective (hazard) could be the cancer, he is so exciting to watch at times and has carried the whole team at others,

I do also think he has been the cause of a few issues at the club, I remember in Mourinho’s second spell he was one of the first to down tools and he did the same with Conte. This issue with not committing to a decision about staying or leaving is becoming farcical and tedious.!

Willian I believe is another contributor. Yes he’s brilliant now and then but he’s form is never consistent and when he’s in bad form he has a bad attitude and drops he’s bottom lip! Like tonight when somebody muscled him off the ball, he just gave up trying and whined to the ref for a free kick? It actually annoyed me that the ref fell for it! it sets bad examples for the younger lot!

Over the years we have lost vital players and people in the dressing room that cannot be replaced! Terry, Lampard, Drogba, Ballack, Cech! You can’t get players like that anymore so what do you do? They were just as important in the dressing room as they were on the pitch! All leaders in their own right.

I agree, Nibby - I think the simple change of playing Kante in his right position and dropping Jorginho would see a massive improvement in our game especially in the pace of our game. Will Sarri do it? Like hell he will!

Sarri changing a striker for striker when we’re losing. hmmm he must be a good tactician.

Situation88: Good post and I think you summed up what many are starting to think regarding Hazard. He has a lot of talent but he also has failings in equal measure and all his managers have highlighted them and to say "I don't care what 'x or y' say" is a failing I am afraid. We are desperate for a strong leader on the pitch never more evident last night when a Terry would have reorganised the defence after the first goal; we have too many drifting out of position.
