I understand that Alonso has passed his medical, so that deal will complete soon.

Luiz is currently on a Eurostar train to London, so it is likely that he will has re-signed before the window closes.

I've been told that Ogbonna is keen on a move to the Bridge as he has worked with Conte in the past, but the last-minute nature of the interest (and West Ham's reluctance to sell) could be too problematic.

The finer details of the Brozovic move have mostly been ironed out, although nothing will happen with that until the situation with other potential outgoings (Cuadrado, Mikel) are sorted out. However, Fabregas looks almost certain to be staying - which could end the interest in Brozovic for now.

Surprisingly, I haven't seen any interest in a striker. I would have thought that, with this entire window seemingly geared towards giving Conte the players he needs to implement a 3-5-2 (and with Traore inexplicably loaned out), a back-up to Costa and Batshuayi would be a priority.

Perhaps we will spring a last minute surprise.

Why would Luiz be on a train?!? He's a millionaire and the clubs is hardly so cash strapped we'd make him take a train to his medical aha.

It was reported in Le Parisien (which is not known for getting those types of details wrong) .

My bad, just seen he was at St. Albans. Shocked he'd get a train though.
