I don't mean to offend anyone, but I think some people on here have unrealistic views. We slate our transfer team for trying to sign Stones due to the price. We slate our transfer team for not signing Stones. We slate our transfer team for not signing Laporte/Garay/Varane. We slate our transfer team for signing Dijibolji before he has even signed (probably due to the low transfer fee). We complain about the transfer team not signing Pogba. We complain about the prospect of signing Pogba at the cost rumoured (as too high). We complain about prospect of looking at Axel Witsel because he isn't Pogba. We complain about us not signing Axel Witsel because he is now good value because we didn't sign Pogba. Even earlier in the window, people complained we didn't sign Griezemann (admittedly I would have liked to see him signed) then complain when we go out and sign Pedro!
At the end of day, I think we have had a good window. A class player signed in Pedro, some top prospects in Kenedy, Nathan and Rahman, a solid backup keeper, some intelligent loans for players to get them first team football and a chance to shine in top European leagues, a striker on loan who is admittedly a gamble but could prove to be a terrific signing if he can get scoring regularly (and now may have confidence for it). We have kept Oscar for whom I think it will be a break through season. We haven't paid any ludicrous transfer fees yet for players who aren't worth the quoted figure and we still could do more business along with the CB who could turn out to be an absolute bargain (his stats are better than Thiago Silva and Abddenour) who Guy Hillon has heavily scouted.
In short: keep the faith!

Can't make everyone happy. Different people different views.
