Really enjoyable podcast Ed001. Keep them coming mate. Was a really easy listen, so congrats on that

Will definitely keep an eye out for it mate. You still not been cleared to work within 500 feet of children under 10, I take it, as you left out kids parties!

One suggestion, and I'm not sure if you're using the podcast to attract more web activity or just to keep the regulars amused, but if it's to attract traffic, I'd refrain from using too many posters as guests. The odd one could be fun, but I think on the whole, it would detract people from listening. I know a lot of people on the LFC page would like to be involved, but if I want to hear all the thoughts of the mindless, I can pop over to LFC banter, whereas the podcast is a great opportunity for the posters to get to know the Eds a little better and for you lot with a vast knowledge of the game and stories of past and present players/managers, can help us better understand our clubs and the characters associated with them. I think once everyone begins talking on it, the numbers will dwindle, as we are already subject to what the posters think, on the various pages.

Just a thought mate, but as I said, it was a really enjoyable listen, and I think it could quickly take the site to the next level.

{Ed001's Note - I left out kids parties because I have enough of dealing with immature brats running the sites!! Couldn't handle that as well.

The podcast was just a bit of fun really, there was no real aim to it, other than providing something else for people who are on the sites. I do think using posters as guests would only be something for occasional usage too, it is such a lot of effort to set up a time and get skype working properly for just the two of us doing it. It would be a nightmare if you are adding in others. It took a day longer to record that one, purely because of connection issues with skype and then benny deciding to record it in the wrong format. Even then it was about 3am here before we got finished recording. I can't see it being workable having lots of posters guesting. I am working on getting some other guests for future episodes though, it is just trying to convince people to do it for a price we can afford (ie free) that is the problem. I think the simplest way for people to get involved is just set up a voice clip recording feature for regular posters to submit questions or topics in for discussion, or whatever they want. Anything interesting can then be spliced in easily, without having to try and set specific time and date to record and have skype decide not to connect.}

I agree, completely. Interested to see which guests you manage to get on.

I know its not footie related, but would be pretty incredible if you could get Doddy on for an hour or so. Do realise it wouldn't be easy. As long as Fat Scam stays away ;)

{Ed001's Note - I would love to get Doddy on, but it would be about 8 hours or so as he will get going and never stop. The worst of it is that you are so busy laughing you can't stop him either. He is a genius to be fair.

Haha sorry Reet. Benny did very well and I would assume he would hold down his spot, but for entertainment value there is only one poster on the Liverpool page that I'd actively campaign for. And I'm sorry to say it isn't you mate.
