Not having a whinge, but watching united tody they were brilliant, and it was enjoying to watch. However watching is we're slow and boring against pellets . Seriously, can't mourinho actually play attacking football, so bored of it

He'd rather a 1-0 win rather than 4-2 win

To be fair, Hazard, Schurrle ( who I think would be great this season), Oscar, Fabregas, willian I could go on but i'll assume you get my point, will inject a little more pace, flair, creativity and spark to our play.
However, I'm a little concerned about a few things. Firstly the strikers, now I would love Didier to come back only if he's going to do some Didi magic and guide Lukaku, and of course Torres gets sold. Otherwise our strike force would be Costa, Torres and Didi. Now I can give enough reasons why that's not a step up from last season and might just see us fall short again. Costa, Lukaku and Didier in that other will be a better for us in all respects.
In midfield, think Van Ginkel is ready, Baker, Chalobah league cup games and probably some Fa cup games, but we really need another top central midfielder. Look at the madrid side, city, Munich and even ARSEnal. The depth and quality in midfield for the former 3 was vital for them, I have always believed the best sides have the best midfield and we are almost there. So it goes without saying Mikel and Ramires don't cut it. Romeu who I think is already better than Mikel would be a decent back up for Matic and I can also see him developing further under Jose. Van Ginkel, Oscar, Fabregas and hopefully another top midfielder ( not going to name drop,,, Pogba,, ;) would set us up nicely, with some of the younger players getting cameos.
The defence is perfect, think Zouma should be kept loving the look of him, plus he would learn a lot from JT and Brana. Luis seems a good buy and azpi would get back to his natural position, which would give the team a little more width and balance.
Anyways that's just my opinion on the team so far.

P.S. Cech really, doesn't want to call it quits.

Indeed, our attack basically consisted of youth players, Bamford and Salah. Only Salah has experience playing at a top level, but he's still so young as well.
Our midfield is not world class right now, but it's good enough I'd say against most teams.

Well said ELI, i'd love us to sign another world class CM, however i'd like javi Martinez, he's just poor class, pogba wouldn't be to bad either, would love him, :)

Cheers for responses

You seem to forget that Manchester United had a lot of they "star" players involved & Chelsea didn't

I don't think it matters who was on the pitch, it was the style of play that was good to watch. Mourinho concentrates way too much on defence which is being a massive detriment to the attacking players at Chelsea. He needs to let them off the leash and just let them play their game. You can understand being defensive if you are away at other title contenders but the rest of the matches he should trust his players to go and express themselves and get the job done.

A lot of it comes down to who they were playing. Galaxy wasn't going to park a bus like pellets and Wimbledon did. Wycombe played an Open game and we thrashed them. Also as others have said, yesterday featured maybe 3 (probably 2) of our starters for the coming year while united included shaw, jones, Rooney, Herrera, who are for sure starters while also having a bunch of fringe guys. I'll take our chances when the games matter.

Like TK rightly said, it comes down to whom we are playing, their style of play and the players we have got on the pitch. United world cup players do not play too far into the competition and have since rested. Whereas more of Chelsea players reach quarter finals and are still resting. American football is also not as fast as Austria, gave Manu the opportunities to penetrate Galaxy defence.
