Question for debate:

Do you guys think Josh McEachran will make it at Chelsea?

Depends what the next manager is like in terms of integrating young players in the first team squad, he certainly has the quality to make it.

2.) 23 Mar 2013
Hate to say it, but I don't think he will.

3.) 23 Mar 2013
Yes he will I'd he is integrated. He was amazing beginning of this season. But he is knackered now and ill recently. He passes better than any of our other midfielders. He's just like modric. It's what we need. The quick passer between defence and attackers.

Agree with Cali.

Will be a good player for someone, but unfortunately wot make it at Chelsea!

Alas I doubt that he will develop to the level required and likewise I really don't think Ryan is at or will reach that required level either

Having said that there are a few that show greater promise but for me there are upwards of 15 players that its time we said thanks but no more.
starting with current first team squad to players like the two I mention above and the likes of Kakuta

I think Jack Wilshire's development at Arsenal illustrates the benefit of giving players game time from an early age. I think a fit and in form McEachran would be on a similar level to Wilshire. Wilshire is a little quicker and more direct, but McEachran seems like a bit more of an intelligent player. I would love to see him given a shot from at least August to December of next season, and if it doesn't work out Chelsea could look for a player in the January market. That being said, I don't think that will happen, but am sure he will do very well at the right club.

The issue for me is there are too many players in front of him for his role. Kdb is more prepared to step in as of right now. And I'll be interested to see the next manager with Romeu. I think that could prove to be key. Also you have what position Oscar will play.
