Hi Ed,

Turkish media reporting the Turkish billionaire Muhsin Bayrak is close to overtaking Chelsea and that he has already made his first signing, Caglar Soyuncu.

To me, this obviously sounds made up but was there any truth to it?

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Caglar Soyuncu has not signed for Chelsea.}

I know he hasn't but is there any truth to these rumours?

{Ed002's Note - No Chelsea have no agreement to buy him.}

What about Muhsin Bayrak, is he a serious candidate to take over?

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea what "serious" means. There is a lot of interest but everything will be on hold for a while.}

I take it you mean on hold due to the sanction given to Roman today.

Wesley with all due respect, Chelsea is now a more self-sustainable club than Arsenal. And arguably a bigger entity worldwide regardless of who the owner is.

Wesley every club basically has a sugar daddy mummy or state backed funding now including arsenal.

{Ed014's Note - no they don’t, that’s just bollox
