Hearing the news that the Suiss consortium backed by Hansjorg Wyss is leading the way to buy us. Having a consortium take over is surely not good news. It means they don't have enough money on their own to run the club. He is also 86 years old so he probably doesn't have long left anyway.

Rumours circulating online that a Saudi billionaire named Al Waseed Bin Talal Al Saud is a Chelsea fan and would like to buy a club on his own. He is worth just under 40 billion dollars and that would easily cover what he needs to buy. Being a fan of Chelsea and loving the club is most important. Roman has done that for us and I hope he can switch us into good hands for the future.

I think having a Saudi owner is better than an American or British owner. Seeing Arsenal and United fans unhappy with the Glazers and Kronke says a lot.

So, it looks like Chelsea will be owned by Americans. A consortium of some kind. With Americans in charge at all the top English clubs, we will see a revival of the ESL - Euro Super League at some point. Bad news for the game imho.

No worse than a Russian oligarch - is there any such thing as baggage less billionaire? Liverpool fans give their owners a hard time and look at where we’ve gone since being taken over. It’s quite laughable.

Nothing more than hate for Americans. All of these potential billionaire owners have built their fortunes on the backs and blood of normal working people. To say you welcome a Saudi owner over American is actually quite funny. Human rights issues with all of them and more proof that we are willing to look the other way so long as we get shiny expensive new players and trophies.

Given the value only the club, a consortium does seem the most likely. Most of those rumoured to be interested have a net worth around 5bn so wyss and Boehly together is like 10bn Which is abramovixh level tbf.
