I may be completely wrong but there's stories of chelsea / Messi as expected, I'm sure clubs have been aware for months now about Messi and the situation or possible option, the signing in fees and wages would be huge and most likely prevent us making other signings now and in future,

I think Ed has said we are one of few clubs in a financial position that we could take him but we don’t see the value in the deal. We’re probably talking well over a hundred million a season.

The Messi to PSG is being reported as circa £30mil per season.

My guess is PSG will get a lot of that back from outside football revenue streams.

It’s hard to believe but it could turn out to be a good deal for PSG.

Neymar is on more than that at PSG, there’s no way Messi will be on less than Neymar. At Barcelona there were lots of funny bonuses and extras that took the salary up significantly. I think the figure won’t be far off 100m for the season but I could be wrong. Would’ve been great to see him in the premier league, to the extent I’d rather he was at city than psg just to see him at the likes of Burnley away haha.
