Rumours of Tammy going to Arsenal done for 40m loan with obligation to buy is there any truth in this?
Surely would mean we're close to signing a forward.

The thing with Tammy is he's not clinical, he's not a striker who will get one shot a game and put it away. And for his height he's pretty poor in the air and at holding the ball up. Hence why we so often turned to Giroud and not Abraham.
Obviously Abraham is still fairly young and can vastly improve, but I'd take the reported 40m for him all day long. Especially if it helps towards Haaland etc!

I disagree about Tammy being clinical. He’s probably the player in the squad I would back the most to finish a chance. His overall game just isn’t good enough to start for us. His passing and link up play is poor as is his dribbling and his heading is nowhere near what it should be for someone his height.

Overrated you can’t be serious he is 20 years old and destroying Bundesliga defences, yes he’s still a raw talent compared to lewandoski who is at the other end of his career playing in a better side a seasoned pro and scored 7 more in-all competitions whether haaland joins us or not that comment is ridiculous a 20 year old getting 41/ 41 games and he’s overrated lol.

* Inside the box, Abraham can finish, outside the box, he needs to improve.
* Werner stats shockingly better than most attacking players in the EPL last season (for a player that had his first season, better times ahead for him)

Haaland is not overrated: he proved he’s a goal at RB Salzburg (Austria) and he has proven it again in the Bundesliga at just the age of 21- his numbers are mind blowing.
ASIDE: legs gave us the UCL trophy last season, I strongly advocate we go for players with legs.

antibot. I never said Werner was clinical, none of our current or recent strikers are clinical and that's the problem.
When Tammy was playing regularly for us, he'd get chance after chance and miss. Surely people can remember this, we were moaning week in and week out at how many chances he missed and how we needed someone more clinical.
I'm not saying Tammy can't score, as he can given enough chances. But he's simply not good enough overall imo.

😂 TheOracle91; I know you are being funny but ‘with legs’, I mean youthful, quick and enduring like Werner, Kai, Reece, Chilwell, Pulisic, Kante etc. I just don’t want us signing players that are relatively slow.

Ha obinna I was only having a joke mate 😂 as good as legs are I think we have enough of them with the likes of Kante, Mount and Werner providing energy. We do lack a clinical edge though.
