So the latest today in our search for a new striker is talk about a move for Kane again. It feels like we're going around in circles from Kane to Haaland to Lukaku and vice versa.

Apparently Tottenham and Levy would be more open to a cash + Tammy deal.

I honestly can't see it happening as Levy just won't deal with us, but if we were to somehow end up with Kane. I wouldn't be complaining!

Tottenham would by far be getting the deal with such swap (of Abraham + cash for Kane) . I rather we sell Abraham, add some money to it and buy Haaland. I honestly do not like the idea of Kane- not because he isn’t a great player but cos of his age (28 years by July 23) and he Kane) has had quite a lot of injuries over the past couple of years, which must have or will take a toll on him in future. I have to say that it’s not good news when a player keeps getting injured on the same leg. I prefer we stick with Abraham, Broja and T. Werner than buy Harry Kane for a huge sum. I think we should be smart, if there’s any truth to this swap (of Abraham plus cash for Kane), I guess it’s cos it is Patrici is finally talking some sense to Levi which would mean stupidity on our part if we agreed to it.

It's more like the Journos speculation is going round in circles rather than the club.
The vast majority of 'news' is pure speculation with the end goal more clicks.

Very true Strasbourg. The media know we have an interest in all 3 players, but they just seem to make things up each day. Whether that be Haaland, Kane or Lukaku.

From the outside it seems like all of our attention is on Haaland, but what actually goes on behind the scenes we haven't got a clue. Besides Ed002's very helpful knowledge and insight!

Haaland would be my preferred choice over Kane or Lukaku. I'd rather pay £100m+ for Haaland and loan him back for next year than miss out altogether! He's a game changer for me.

I agree with Obinna if Abraham is moving on which is likely get some cash in the bank for him. I would not touch Kane for the money quoted. As I stated in an earlier post there will be no resale value but of more concern is that we may have already seen the best of him: his injury issues aren’t going to get any better as he gets older and no doubt he would want a 5 year contract on big wages.
