Ed, are you able to summarise the likely outgoings from Chelsea this summer?

{Ed002's Note - Potential outgoings:
Kepa Arrizabalaga (G) there is a little something brewing still with Lazio - but they want a loan and won't have the funds to buy him at the end of it - even if they sell Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as that money is spoken for.
Willy Caballero (G) out of contract

Thiago Silva (CB) out of contract but Chelsea have offered another year which he will take. So staying.
Andreas Christensen (CB) will be available in the summer if he does not agree a new contract. I think he will stay.
Matt Miazga (CB) Will possibly be released in the summer.
Kurt Zouma (CB) Will probably be available in the summer but the interest of Spurs went with Mr Mourinho. Maybe Roma?
Fikayo Tomori (CB) Will join Milan.
Antonio Rudiger (CB) declared interest from PSG, Barcelona, Milan and Juventus on a loan to buy deal. But nothing firm. Will stay.
Marc Guehi (CB) Chelsea will look to have him sign a two year extension and then he will get another loan. Southampton have asked after his availability.
Davide Zappacosta (RWB/LWB) will be sold.
Emerson Palmieri (LB) Napoli want him - but only on loan initially. Juventus interest has probably drifted and Inter prefer Alonso over Emerson.
Marcos Alonso (LB) Interest from Inter and particularly Atletico Madrid - but they will want a loan with only an option to buy and Chelsea want to sell him.
Baba Rahman (LWB) interest from Derby, PAOK and Middlesbrough - Leeds asked after a loan. Available in January and discussions have continued with a couple of sides but only Krasnodar offer something interesting. PAOK will probably win out and offer him a permanent deal.

Ngolo Kante (DM) Inter would ideally like a package deal for Kante, Emerson and Giroud if they can include a player in the deal (Chelsea has no interest in either player offered) and if Inter do not need to put too much cash up front - another solution would need to be found. PSG may provide an option. Will stay I would think.
Jorginho (DM/CM) There is no declared interest at this time and Chelsea would want a decent return on the player - they have learned a lot from loans with options through the like of Bakayoko. Napoli has shown no interest and he is about fourth on Milan's list, and Inter have two serious options ahead of him. Expect him to stay.before they will be looking at the also rans. A new contract will be offered but his agent will look for options.
Tiemoue Bakayoko (DM/CM) Chelsea need this resolved finally in the summer - but it will be difficult to find a buyer. Chelsea will look to a club with an obligation rather than an option to buy. There is a very good player in there for someone.

Danny Drinkwater (CM) available and at some point Chelsea will let go if there are no other options. Kasimpasa have taken him on loan but have not asked about buying him. May need to drop to the Championship if he stays in England..
Billy Gilmour (CM) The club were open to an 18 month loan for Gilmour to help his career but wanted a long-term contract agreed first. During discussions with Juventus over another matter, they have proposed to take him but they want an obligation to buy at the end. Napoli have also asked for formal talks. The coach wants to keep Gilmour so it will be discussed again in the summer. Will be a difficult problem to solve.
Marco van Ginkel (CM) will join PSV as a Free Agent from Chelsea. Chelsea have given him a real break rather than pushing for an extension and PSV are aware of that and see it as a reputational benefit for all.
Conor Gallagher (CM) Crystal Palace have approached Chelsea about taking the player on a loan to buy deal. Leeds may offer something similar. The issue is whether Chelsea can offer sufficient game time – they want to keep him but finding space is difficult.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek (CM) Fulham were keen to make the loan permanent in the summer but relegation ends that if Chelsea make him available, and they will. There have been two enquiries made already. Chelsea have not discussed any interest that Fulham may have and the interest of Crystal Palace will be dependent on who the new manager will be. Aston Villa have John Terry advocating a move and Southampton have enquired after the asking price and seem very keen.
Ross Barkley (AM/CM) will be available for sale. Aston Villa are not looking to keeping him on a permanent deal whilst Newcastle offer an option, probably on a loan to buy basis, and the thought is that West Ham may offer a loan option. Knuckle-dragging bonehead Chelsea want shot of.
Tino Anjorin (AM) Could potentially be sent on loan - no decision just yet. Chelsea would like to keep him on the books.
Marcel Lewis (AM) Youngster wanted assurances of game time and progression which Chelsea won't provide but they have offered a roadmap and will offer a loan if he signs a new contract. Fortuna Düsseldorf and Eintracht Frankfurt offer interest in mainland Euope and St Louis City with their renowned Sporting Director have approached Chelsea about taking him in January 2023. However, the kid has opted to step down and kickstart his career with Union Saint-Gilloise (rather than Huddersfield) and Chelsea have supported him in that.
Callum Hudson-Odoi (RW/LW) Chelsea are more than happy to move him on but the interest of Spurs, RBS, PSG and Bayern Munich has gone. Borussia Dortmund asked Chelsea about his availability last summer - but they did that as he was on a very long-list of potential Jadon Sancho replacements.}
Victor Moses (RW) Spartak have a €5M obligation to buy the player if they make CL. He has already left.
Hakim Ziyech (RW) The coach is open to him leaving and he will be off to AFCON. Expect him to probably stay.
Timo Werner (LW/F) A third party has suggested to Borussia Dortmund that they should ask for TW as part of any negotiations over EH. It won't happen.
Kenedy (LWB/LW) Grenada have an option to buy but money is an issue for the club. Chelsea will be reasonable and find a way to make it work - perhaps an agreement over future loans but as part of the City Football Group their way forward is to take loanees from Manchester City, as they have done with Herrera. This has opened the door to Flamengo who have been given permission to have him train with them. There is a little something convoluted going on that should see him return to Brazil.
Lucas Piazon (F) Joined Braga in January and doing very well.
Ike Ugbo (S) Doing very well at Cercle Brugge who would like to make the loan permanent but they know they face interest from Rostov (who had a €4M offer turned down), Marseille, Watford, Schalke, Fulham, Sassuola and Genk. Monaco have also asked Chelsea about his availability. No decision has been made yet.
Charlie Brown (S) It was not a surprise that CB looked to move on for first team football in January. MK Dons.
Tammy Abraham (S) Will be asked to sign a contract extension but is being a bit of a prima donna and a bitch which the club won't tolerate so the club will let him leave in the summer. Option for Leicester to OE, Wolves and Aston Villa - probably not West Ham. Borussia Dortmund asked Chelsea about his availability. Newcastle and Milan may provide a wildcard options.
Michy Batshuayi (S) Crystal Palace have an option to buy but Chelsea do not expect them to take it up. His agent will be looking for solutions, ideally in Germany or France but the only firm offer is from Trabzonspor – it is in the hands of Crystal Palace rather than Chelsea right now.
Olivier Giroud (S) out of contract in the summer. There is a separate matter that needs to be taken in to account in any decision. But if that can be resolved he will join Milan – he has several other options.}

Sad to hear that about Tammy, but we seem to have done pretty well in the 2nd half of the season without him.

If Giroud and Tammy both leave then we'll definitely be needing a new face up front.

Ed002, thank you so much for the update. IDK if you are a fan of Chelsea but I'm still over the moon being the champions of Europe. Appreciate your input and when and if you can. Please share an update on potential targets for this summer.

Think TT has done brilliant and we will do good to build around what he wants to make us dominate and continue to play great football.

Cheers to everyone.

Feels so great to see you post like this again, Ed.
I hope the trolls don't spoil it for the rest of us this time - but they always seem to do. Anyways, thanks a lot for this very detailed post.
If I may ask: Does the club plan on selling both Alonso and Emerson? In that case I would expect Maatsen to be part of the squad?

Ed002, have you heard anything on Armando Broja, Malang Sarr, Trevoh Chalobah, Ethan Ampadu and Xavier Mbuyamba with respect to their futures?

{Ed002's Note - The club is working on making decisions over loan players.}
