B. Soumare rumours popping up again at this time and Lille have indicated that they will sell. With Chelsea reportedly looking at a DM before the window shuts, I guess Soumare can be added to the of targets that includes Declan Rice.

Whilst I would prefer Rice as a DM its not clear if the club see him as a CB option.
I struggle to see us buying another midfield player unless at least Jorghino is sold which looks difficult.
Why not give Ampadu a chance rather than gamble on Soumare?

I think we need to sell first as per ed2 otherwise we will be overcrowded in DM.

Rice will be used both as a CB and a DM.
Ampadu needs more consistent minutes. He surely has a future with us.
