Hey Folks,

I know most Chelsea Supporters would like the Club to add to the Squad in January and whilst there are no guarantees and it's not usually the best time to do business I am curious to know which areas of the squad and the players they would look to sign in Jan.

I personaly was surprised We didn't sign another Striker in the Summer, someone older with Prem experience who could hold the ball up and give Us a physical presence up top. I would look to that role again if possible although I can't think of who I would look to now that Llorente has wound up at Spurs.

I also would like Us to look into signing a Winger/ Wide Forward to add to Our creativity and Goal threat. Whilst He wouldn't come cheap I think We could do a lot worse than Riyad Mahrez whose showing some good form in a struggling side this Season.

I also think We need to be looking at a Left Back/ Wing Back especially if We persist with the 3-4-3 system as they are argurably the most crucial players in such a system although I think this is more likely to be addressed next Summer.

I think we might sign one player in the next window and only then if the club think it’s the right player or good value.
I’m not sure but haven’t we sold more players than we’ve bought in the winter window?

I wonder if we will try to use Baba Rahman when he comes back from injury as cover on the left side, or if we will loan him out (maybe Schalke are still interested) to build match fitness.

They could maybe get another player in, but where we have had several injuries over the last few weeks. Some of them will not be back for a month. That in itself will be like having new signings and also they will be fresh. This will hopefully give us a boost.
