18 players have left Chelsea in last 6 months. Minimum 5 of them has to be replaced. Of those 5, 3 were homegrown. We have signed 3 players none of them is a homegrown. To have squad of 25 players you need at least 8 homegrown players. At the moment we have only 5 or 6 and none of our potential targets (except Moussa Dembele) is homegrown. I'm wondering how they think to compete in 4 different competitions without possibility to have 25 men squad?

Hey Antibot, a number of Our Players are capable of playing a number of roles/ positions within the Team so having a Squad of 25 is probably unlikely.

Rudiger can play CB or RB.
Azpilicueta can play CB, RB, LB.
Alonso can play LB or CB.
Pedro WF or ST.

I'm not saying they are equally as strong in each position but can do a job there.

This means a slightly smaller squad is workable and players are more likely to get Game Time which should help for a Happier Squad.

I think 2 players for each position let alone 2 equally strong players for each position is unrealistic.

antibot, it depends on what competition (PL / CL) you are referring to. maybe, in addition to possible signings, U21 players will be utilised where necessary.
