The sun claiming Chelsea close to Danilo for £31m hahahahahahha signed for £23m, had horrendous time and hardly played and they want more. ed018 please tell me this isn't remotely true.

If Conte made Victor Moses and Alonso look like Cafu and Roberto Carlos, I'll back him on any deal. Was class at Porto and Conte wanted him originally to replace Lichsteiner.

I'm happy for it to add competition and depth, Sandro is the one really who is a must buy. Huge fee thou. But like I say if anyone can get this boy playing like he did at Porto is conte.

Danilo is a good full back. He had Caravejl in front of him at Madrid who in my eyes is a world class right back.

Going into the summer I was hoping we would target Semedo of Benefica. While the fees being talked about for these guys seem high, there isn't a more important player in Conte's system.

The usually reliable UOL website have confirmed that a deal between Chelsea, Danilo and Real Madrid is close. Should be finalised soon. Make of that what you will.

It's hard with ed002 not being here! Nothing really certain and far too many different takes on stories! Come back Ed!

I know Juve were after him but now after signing Douglas Costa they can no longer sign an non-eu player. He'll be an upgrade on Moses for sure. If not he definitely adds depth to the squad, which is what we need.
