Dear Ed,

There are reports of Bayern placing a bid for Reus with another imminent bid from Real Madrid. Any updates from the Chelsea side? Is it likely to be a bidding war or would it be his personal choice?.

Thanks again. Searched for your previous posts about Reus and got the explanation.

Cant imagine how many can Real Madrid play with such a stacked up midfield. Same goes for Bayern :)

Indeed, Thorgan Hazard has steadily seen his minutes increase at Monchengladbach and IMO he's playing well at a good level. I also have high hopes for Traore. Both could add quality depth to the rotation I think.

Reus is NOT joining us. Simple and factual. We don't need him either, we have a fantastic squad with great young potential in the youth development squads and out on loan.

Both Bayern and Real don't 'need' him either.

As Ed said, it's about progression.
